NRAS - a property investment option worth considering

Not long after the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS) was introduced, we recognised its potential as a means of making a negatively-geared (from a tax perspective) property investment that was, at the same time, potentially cash-flow positive from day one.

It is gratifying to see that our assessment of its potential has been recognised by leading property analyst and adviser, Michael Matusik, who has commented on the merits of the scheme in the most recent of his monthly reports, Matusik Missive. To read the report, click the preceding link.

To learn more about this investment opportunity, visit the official government website. To discuss its merits for your particular circumstances, contact us.

The Next Big Thing in Investment Administration

Innova Asset Management has developed the funds management industry's first Unified Managed Account (UMA). This administration system will, in our view, revolutionise the way investment portfolios are managed in future and, as such, represents a fantastic opportunity for both existing and new clients.
Beware the hoax email

Email scams are becoming more prevalent every day.

Now, they are even resorting to using warnings about possible scams as ways to get you to believe they are legitimate.

The banking community advise us that they do not communicate with customers via email unless the email emanates direct from a bank employee's email account.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you either click on any link in one of these emails or supply any personal information requested.

Unfortunately, I just did both, believing the email to be correspondence which I was awaiting from my bank. Fortunately, I soon realised my error and immediately notified the bank. Now I only have the inconvenience of resetting my online banking logins and getting a new Visa card issued (to replace the one I just got last week)!

And then there's the embarrassment of admitting that a financial professional made such a mistake!

So, please remain vigilant and don't become the next victim.
